Mandatory Insurance in Ohio

Motorcycle Insurance Requirements

In Ohio, you must have liability insurance before registering and operating a motorcycle. Mandatory coverages include bodily injury liability, guest passenger liability, and property damage liability. 

Ohio-required minimum limits of liability coverage for bodily injury (BI) and guest passenger liability (GP) are $25,000 per person, $50,000 per accident, and $25,000 property damage (PD) coverage per accident.
